Schedule
7th/8th Boys Recreational Basketball
- Dates: November 4 - December 6 (5 Weeks)
- Practices: 2x per week (1.5 hours each)
- Coaches: Parent Volunteer (If you are interested in helping please email mandy.evans@ridgefieldsd.org)
- Games: 4 Games on Fridays
- Rules: High school rules, pressing and zone allowed. No full court press if a team is up by 20+ points. Full Rule Sheet HERE
- Jersey/Shirt: all players will get a season shirt to keep; we will have game day jerseys each Friday. These will be handed out and collected after each game
Students currently on the Middle School Boys Basketball Team are ineligible for this program. This program is exclusively for Ridgefield School District students. Registration will close after Middle School boys team tryouts (10/29/24)
Rosters Formed: October 30/31
Practices Begin: week of November 4
Game Days: Friday, November 8, 15, 22, December 6
Given the quick turnaround, we will strive to schedule two practices for everyone during the first week. Practices may take place from Monday to Thursday, depending on volunteer coach availability, starting at 6:00 PM or later.

Our developmental league focuses on skill development, sportsmanship, teamwork and FUN!! This is a recreational league, teams are coached by parent volunteers.
