In “My Tie to History” we will explore the past through the lives of ‘our people’ (parents, ancestors, or ‘adopted’ family.)
Class participants will look at the people and places that shape their personal “backstory,” and in weeks 2-4 will explore the times- the decades-that impacted their people, considering local and national events- examining which may have influenced our families, their communities, and everyday life.
